Type I

Unique and versatile, the Tricon 1
is used extensively by the United
States Armed Forces. All CMCI-built Tricons are structurally compatible and can be mixed and matched in the same series to form 20' equivalent units.

The Tricon is configured so that,
when three units are secured
together using the exclusive SeaLock connector, the resulting package has
the same footprint as a standard 20' ISO intermodal container.

This three-into-one concept offers the advantages of functionally or organizationally segregated cargo with the ease of handling of a standard 20' container.

Intended for use as a transport/storage unit, the Tricon’s single side door access offers a wide range of options for storage, mobile offices, equipment integrations, specialized security containers and office modules. The Tricon’s all-steel construction and unique versatility makes this an ideal new option for military and commercial logistics challenges.

Features include:

  • All-steel monocoque construction
  • Three-way fork-lift pockets
  • 10,000 lb rated “E” track system for shoring and shelving options
  • Full-width access doors on one side of container
  • 26-2000lb rated lashing points
  • Over 5.5 tons (12,000 pounds) payload capacity
  • ISO tested and CSC approved by Lloyds for use in the 20' module configuration
  • Over 9.6 cubic meters (345 cubic feet) of internal capacity
  • Easily repaired (essentially same construction as a 20' steel container)
  • 1 Year Warranty on Materials and Workmanship
  • 5 to 20-Year Anti-Corrosion Warranty
