Design and Innovation

Innovation is key at CMCI. Our engineering team is led by the man who developed the world’s first Tricon container, while our in-house design team works tirelessly to develop new logistics solutions for our customers.

New products recently launched include:

  • TriCold® and QuadCold™ refrigerated containers, used by the military to carry vital blood and medical supplies.
  • Tricon 2 (US Patent D502,547), developed with doors on both sides of the container.
  • Tricon 3 (US patent D533,979), developed with doors on three sides
  • Tricon 4 (US Patent D533,978), which opens from all four sides.
  • Tricon 5 (patent pending), full width access doors on all sides of container.
  • Tricon Office Module, a mobile office space complete with computer, cable and phone connections.
  • Quadcon 2 (patent pending), a flexible solution designed to increase capacity and compatibility with other modular intermodal containers.

Patent Nos. 502,547, 533,979, and 533,978 respectively. Numerous other utility and design patents in the United States and other countries are pending that will protect various containers as well as the LSA® Adapter.
